About
Derek Rasmussen, Co-Owner
Derek Rasmussen is a co-owner of Green Up Irrigation and has over 8 years experience installing, servicing, and designing irrigation systems. Petoskey native Derek started working with irrigation when he was employed for his local municipality and took an interest in the troubleshooting aspect of irrigation system problems. His curiosity grew and he trained with and shadowed some of the larger irrigation companies in our area before starting to install systems on his own. Derek then went to work with one of the nation’s largest landscape supply wholesalers where he gained deep knowledge of products and industry leading techniques.
Derek and Jess founded Green Up Irrigation a short time later to bring a new irrigation and maintenance company to Northern Michigan. In his free time, Derek enjoys working on home improvement projects, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Hannah and their daughters, Grace and Ava.
Jess Londo, Co-Owner
Jess Londo is a co-owner of Green Up Irrigation and brings a unique blend of customer service, organization, and landscape design expertise to the team. Before joining Green Up, Jess managed one of Petoskey's well-known local bars, where she developed strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills that continue to benefit clients every day.
Growing up on her family's 160-acre farm, home to a beautiful event venue with professionally maintained landscaping, Jess developed a passion for creating attractive outdoor spaces. That passion has grown into becoming Green Up's resident landscape design expert, helping homeowners create landscapes that are both beautiful and functional.
Jess also manages many of Green Up's administrative responsibilities, helping keep projects organized and ensuring customers have a smooth experience from start to finish. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer service make her an invaluable part of the team.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her husband, Zach, who is also a member of the Green Up team, and their daughter, Charley.
